Toshiba P100-475 livré avec Vista
 
Essai de Vista, on oublie très vite : lourd, lent, gourmand, 1/2 des applis sont à remplacer... Microsoft qui pousse en avant comme dab  
Alors on mets XP SP2 (impératif, avec SP1 trop de différences )
 
j'ai eu les mêmes pb que beaucoup et IMPOSSIBLE de déclarer Audio et Modem
le soft d'install ne me permettait pas de selectioner la carte
après des heures d'essais, d'installs successives du patch 888111, galère complète jusqu'au moment ou j'ai trouvé la solution ci jointe sur le site de toshiba ( voir ci dessous )
 
tout faire à la main en suivant scrupuleusement les étapes décrites
sélectionner manuellement le fichier.inf  
ignorer les alertes microsoft, et cette fois ça passe pour l'audio et le modem

Procédure à suivre à la lettre :
 
Fixed it!! (but mic ain't work)
1) Download conexant 3.11.0.51 drivers ( chez Tosh )
2) extract and install the kb888111xpsp2.exe included in folder
3) your devices will be identified by the system
4) start>control panel>system>hardware>device manager
5) right click on audio device > update driver
6) select "no not at this time"
7) install from a list or specific location
8) don't search I will choose the driver to install
9) press "have disk"
imposer la sélection manuelle en bas de la fenêtre
10) locate the inf file included in the drivers folder you downloaded
11) ignore windows alerts
12) listen to your music
 
As I said before your mic probably won't work, but who cares if you have a web camera!
