Ben quand je veux lancer Tux Racer par exemple il me met :

parce que j'ai installé les drivers nvidia et sans les drivers c'etait trop lent (avec les drivers ça ne lance meme plus kde ça me met un ecran noir) je suis revenu en "vesa"...

verifie dans le fichier /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 dans la section Modules que la ligne Load "GLX" est bien active

ben non, j'ai téléchargé les drivers sur le site de nvidia puis ensuite je les ai décompréssé (vu que le sh fonctionnait pas) ensuite j'ai fait make install et voilà ou j'en suis (j'ai eu un ecran noir apres avoir mis nvidia puis j'ai remis vesa pour pouvoir lancer X)

normallement, leur installeur fonctionnement tres tres bien chez nvidia
quand tu demarres KDE, est ce que tu vois le logo Nvidia pendant 1-2 secondes pendant le demarrage ?

non et le tutorial j'ai deja essayé ça n'a rien donné (je l'ai meme suivi a la lettre plusieurs fois) le probleme c'est que quand je le suis a la lettre justement IL NE DEMARRE PAS donc...je sais plus quoi faire...ai besoin d'aide... :(

je récapitule *petit frere* ben apres l'install des drivers nvidia avec le client il me dit que c'est fini c'est bien beau tout ça mais...sur tout les tutos il est marqué que il faut changer la ligne Driver "vesa"(vesa/nv/vga) en Driver "nvidia" mais au lancement de KDE tout s'initialise et puis plutot que de démarrer il me met un écran noir ! j'ai tenté plusieurs tutos et toujours le meme ecran noir...a l'aide  [:atog]

mm si j'a du faire je ne sais combien de tutoriaux ai finalement réussi grace a un site web (que j'aime bien d'ailleurs) et la F.A.Q. du readme.txt de Nvidia faut dire que la meme chose etait mise...
