Hello, Voila j'ai un petit probleme avec l'installation des drivers ATI sur une debian sid :)
Il semblerais que flgx sois bien installer mais les drivers... non:

Le control panel me donne bien le nom de la carte et toutes les infos la concernant... mais l'openGL reste toujours sous Mesa...  
J'ai essaye pas mal de chose dans le /etc/X11/XF86Config-4

Tu dois enlever les anciennes libs MESA. Regarde ou elles sont et déplace les dans un repertoire ou efface les.
 
Vaut mieux faire ca que desinstaller MESA car sinon des tas d'apps OpenGL ne voudront pas s'installer.

Ben tu te coltines un howto sur apt-get pour lister les fichier du paquet MESA ou alors tu regardes avec synaptic qui te liste ca...

Je ne comprends pas la différence entre les déplacer (ou renommer ou effacer) et les désinstaller.
Elle ne seront de toute façon plus accesibles, alors...  :??:  c'est juste pour tromper "l'ennemi", et faire croire aux autres applis que les lib sont là ?
 
Un find / -name '*mesa*', c'est la bonne méthode ?

j'avais 2 fichiers dans usr/lib/, je les ai renommés, mais apparemment ça n'a pas suffit... je ne comprends pas trop là, faut "virer" aussi les /usr/share/doc ??? :??:

Bon je viens d'installer les derniers drivers ATI et ce que je disais n'est plus valable.  
 
Lors de l'installation les fichiers dont je parlais sont automatiquement déplacés donc il  devrait y'avoir plus rien a faire a ce sujet.
 
Pour info moi j'ai utilisé les infos de cette page:

Et pareil je me suis retrouvé au debut avec  fglrxinfo me disant que MESA etait utilisé.
 
Et bien c'est normal en fait tant que le DRI n'est pas initialisé correctement. Dans mon cas j'ai du juste modifié une ligne pour utilise agpgart:
 
   Option "UseInternalAGPGART"         "yes"
 
Et apres ca a ete bon.
 
Tu peux verifier et poster la sortie de  
/var/log/Xorg.0.log ?
 
Les causes de ton probleme peuvent etre liées au fait qu'il faut charger un module ou 2 pour le port agp. Mais il peut yavoir d'autres causes..

Oui c pour toutes les applications qui dependent de MESA, ca evite d'avoir des pbms de dépendances.  
 
En fait il s'agit des libraires libGL il faut s'assurer qu'elles pointent bien vers celles d'ATI:
 
ls -l /usr/lib/libGL.*

Bon sinon... bien sque je pense... le faite de renommer ou desinstaller les lib ne sert a rien (depuis peut...)  
 
sinon de mon coter:

est bien sur "yes" (avec les derniers drivers agpart ce met automatique sur yes...) donc la je vois plus trop :o
Pour le log je le poste dans la soiree ;)
