You will be responsible for maintenance and project activities related to Security infrastructure (Firewall, VPN Concentrator, IPS, etc.)
You will be in charge of the security of one of the biggest IT network of Belgium and working in a challenging environment within a dynamic team.
 
- Duties and responsibilities
You will have the following responsibilities for the projects that will be assigned :
· Configure network security infrastructure components
· Troubleshoot network security related infrastructure problems end-to-end
· Be responsible for 2nd line maintenance on Security infrastructure.
· Support Provide support in the preparation and execution of complex network maintenance and enhancement tasks.
· Train first line maintenance staff on tools and procedures on-the-job
· Support the roll-out of new equipment or services in the scope of specific engineering projects and ensure timely & qualitative execution.
· Validate compliance of configuration requests with security policies
 
1. Experience  
· Firewalls (Checkpoint, Juniper)
· VPN (Nortel, Juniper)
· Routing / Switching (Troubleshooting IP flow and VLANs)
· Content Delivery network (proxies, reverse-proxies)
· DNS and mail-Relay servers
· OS experience: Solaris
· Security minded, able to interpret and apply the Company Security Policies
 
2. Skills/expertise
· Master in resolving technical problems in the field by analysing network indicators (alarms, statistics ?).
· Be able to work independently and to take initiatives.
· Good communication skills.
· Team player
· Pragmatic and solution driven (problem solver)
· Familiar with Office Automation tools (Word, Excel, MS-Access, MS-Project, and PowerPoint).  
· Languages: English (Dutch or French an advantage).
