Par exemple, pour simplifier, si un message de spam contient un message indésirable de 4 lignes, puis 16 lignes de mots ordinaires aléatoires (parfois ils sont cachés), l'antispam en déduit qu'il y a 80% du message qui est acceptable, donc l'ensemble du message est acceptable, le voila qui est induit en erreur.

De plus en plus de softs anti-spam utilisent par filtre bayesien pour déterminer si un messag est du spam ou non, en analysant son contenu.
Pour que ce genre de soft fontionne il faut au départ leur donner a analyser plusieurs centaines de spams et de mail légitime (le "ham" ) pour que le soft ai une base de comparaison a partir de laquelle travailler.
Cette methode est actuellement une des plus efficace pour contrer le spam passé la période d'apprentissage, et donc pour contrer ca on voit de plus ne plus de spams avec a la fin des listes de mots incohérentes, dont le but est de tromper les filtres bayésiens, les mots de ces listes etant habituellement rarement dans du spam.
