j'essaie d'installer XFree depuis un petit moment et impossible....
Ma carte graphique est normalement prise en charge et quand je fais un startx , je vois qu'il essaie de lancer xfree, et puis message:

la plage de fréquence définie pour ton écran doit être erronée.

je crois que j'ai essayé toutes les freqences et tailles possiles  
Cependant je n'ai pas mis de Clockchip, comment savoir si je dois en mettre une et laquelle choisir.
PS je suis sous  Slakeware tiny avec un 486.
