le firewall est désactivé pourtant

bonjour,
j'ai knoppix en serveur, mon client XP est branché sur knoppix, dans le voisinage réseau de xp je vois le serveur knoppix mais si je clique dessus il ne m'autorise pas l'accèes, il ne me demande mêmepas le mot de passe
samba est bien lancé pourtant!
comment faire?
