Je tarde un peu mais hier les liens ne marchaient pas.
Donc soit j'ai loupé un truc soit il n'y a pas la solution à mon pb. Enfin bref toujours pas de son.
Pourtant je pense avoir bien regarder tous les paramètres...

pour certaines cartes bttv je crois qu'il y a un module supplémentaire à charger pour avoir le son (msp3400)

Pour la capture d'alsa mixer, les points rouges ne signifient pas que le line est en muet ?

Oui mais les liens à l'intérieur de ton topic ne marchaient pas. Je suis chez Télé2 et hier soir il était impossible de joindre les sites US.
Aujourd'hui c'est bon.
Là je regarde les guignols mais en muet c'est moins drôle. Je vais rebooter sous Win pour le 20h en attendant.
PS: Ma carte n'a pas de MSP (normalement) donc c'est pas ça. Et dans le mixer, le point vert allumé veut dire que c'est activé. (éteint c'est muet)

J'utilise une Winfast TV2000 deluxe, pas de problème de son avec une SBlive ou sur ma NF7-S, sous Debian SID

Non non. Puisque K!TV fonctionne sans pb sous win.

j'ai le même problème que toi avec la mdk 10 official mais une carte pinnacle pctv pro bt848 ( année 1998). moi non plus pas de son.
je ne crois pas que ça vienne du msp3400 comme il est dit plus haut qui ne concerne que certaines carte.
peut etre bttv qui a evolué recemment gère mal les cartes sons intégrées.
soit linux gère trés mal les cartes sons intégrées de l'asus deluxe car j'ai la même carte mère que toi.

j'ai le meme probleme avec une carte PCTV pro branché sur le ligne in.
idem si j'utilise une source sonore autre (le son de mon magnétoscope pour être clair) branché sur le line in. je tourne en 2.6 sur a7n8x deluxe également. C'est peut etre un pb avec le line in en fait et pas de carte télé, non ??
edit : j'ai un contournement du probleme qui marche du tonnerre !

eu le meme probleme...apres avoir choisis alsa dans Kcontrol, dans la console un "alsa_init" et ca roule. mais ca n'a pas fonctionné à tous les coups

Le up de la honte: c'était juste la configuration d'ALSA par défaut: il y avait "Line in as surround" de coché dans les options nforce2 avancé ... il suffit de le décocher mdr

pourtant sur la capture d'ecran de copinard c'est vert.
vous parlez bien de la tv leadtek wintv expert (fm avec cn881)?
sur cette carte on relie la sortie tv ( interne) à l'entrée interne de la carte mère

Si tu rajoutes le module bttv dans /etc/modules, le module devrait se charger au démarrage.

Salut à tous.
Cela fait plusieurs fois que je tente l'aventure Linux et cette fois ci ça se passe plutôt bien.
J'ai opté pour une Mandrake 10. Comme j'avais quelques pb avec l'officielle (pb de look surtout) je l'ai passée en Cooker. Et là c'est 10 fois mieux.
Il subsiste quand même 2 soucis majeurs. Mes pilotes ATI et ma carte télé.
Pour l'ATI je verrai plus tard. Mon pb actuel c'est la télé.
Ma config :
Asus A7N8X Deluxe
Radeon 9700 Pro
512 Mo Ram
Carte télé Leadtek Winfast 2000 Expert
...
Ma carte est bien reconnu, je capte les 6 chaines, mais je n'ai pas du tout de son. Pas le moindre petit crachouilli. Et pourtant j'ai essayé avec tous les logiciels que j'ai pu trouver.
XawTV, Xawdecode, KwinTV, MoTV, KDETV, TVTime.
Première chose, à chaque démarrage je dois taper « modprobe bttv » sinon y'a rien. Mais bon, ça c'est pas trop grave. (même si c'est contrariant)
Bien sur le son fonctionne très bien dans les autres logiciels. XMMS (avec ALSA en greffon de sortie bien sur), Mplayer... Aucun soucis.
Idem sous Windows, K!TV fonctionne nickel, donc pas de pb de branchement.
Voilà une capture du mixer ALSA pour être sur :
A noter le faible niveau affiché sur le champ « Capture », mais si je clique pour le monter, il passe à 0 pour ne plus en bouger.
D'ailleurs dans Kmix, le champ « Capture » est bien activé et à 100%. (celui tout à droite sur la première image)
