pb xfree et carte graphique intégrée : "no screen found" - Installation - Linux et OS Alternatifs

salut
 
je viens d'installer une debian et je n'arrice pas à lancer le serveur graphique. J'ai suivis la formation d'Alexis de Lattre (http://people.via.ecp.fr/~alexis/formation-linux/formation-linux.html) pour l'installer, excepter la recompilation du noyaux (j'ai donc toujours le 2.4.18)
 
J'ai une carte mère à base de Nforce 2 et j'utilise la GeForce 4 MX intégrée, avec les drivers opensource NV
 
lorsque je lance x, il me met :

Faut-il assigner un busID spécial pour les cartes intégrée ?

c'est une woody ?
 
si oui, il y a des chances que le driver ne soit pas assez récent pour gérer le nforce2

alors il faudrait que je màj le driver nv ? comment faire ?
ou alors installer le driver proprio ?

pour moi, le plus simple est peut-être de passer en sarge  
 
sinon effectivement le driver proprio devrait pouvoir être installé

La sarge c'est la testing ?
 
Sinon pour installer les drivers proprios il me faut installer les sources de mon noyau (sinon ca me fait une erreur)
J'ai donc fait un "apt-get install kernel-sources-2.4.18.tar.gz" mais il ne détecte pas que je les ai installées. J'ai oublier quelque chose ?
