Je débute sous linux et jessaie de compiler un programme.
 
J'exécute donc la commande "configure" et au bout dun certain temps reçoit le message suivant :
 
checking for GTK+ - version >= 2.0.0... no
*** Could not run GTK+ test program, checking why...

*** exact error that occured. This usually means GTK+ is incorrectly installed.
configure: error:
The development files for GTK+ were not found. For GTK+ 2, please
ensure that pkg-config is in the path and that gtk+-2.0.pc is
installed. For GTK+ 1.2 please check that gtk-config is in the path,
and that the version is 1.2.3 or above. Also check that the
libraries returned by 'pkg-config gtk+-2.0 --libs' or 'gtk-config
--libs' are in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH or equivalent.
 
J'ai pourtant bien installé GTK et Cie à partir de l'installateur de ma Mandriva 2006.

T'as installé aussi les librairies de développement de gtk+2 ? Ou juste les runtime ? Je suis pas vraiment un pro non plus, mais j'ai l'impression que c'est ça son souci.
 
Tente un truc du style :
 
urpmi gtk2-devel
 
(je suis pas sous Mandriva, mais y a sûrement quelqu'un qui me corrigera si c'est faux)

oui il te faut les devels de GTK+, Fait un touir dans la base urpmi et le paket ki contient GTK+ devel.
