Utilisation de tout l'écran impossible avec NVIDIA 420GO - Hardware - Linux et OS Alternatifs

Bonjour,
 
Ca fait un moment que je galère avec les pilotes NVIDIA (7176 ou qqch comme ça, et la version précédente pour AUROX), sur un HP zv5000 15'4 16:10, et sur un Toshiba 15'. En fait, je n'arrive pas à utiliser toute la surface de l'écran, alors qu'avec le pilotes "nv" et sous Windows, ça marche.
J'utilise Aurox 10.3 sur le HP (AMD 2800+, Geforce 420GO) et Mandriva 2005 (P IV 2GHz, Geforce 420GO).  
J'ai rajouté des Modelines mais ça ne fonctionne pas, au mieux ça affiche deux écrans sur la largeur!
J'ai trouvé les configurations pour Modelines, avec "gtf".
 
Merci de m'aider, je ne sais plus quoi faire!!!

Avec ou sans les Modelines, le resultat est identique. J'ai juste voulu aiderXorg à trouver la bonne résolution.
Le load "vnc" sert à lancer un module de Xorg, mais je n'en sais pas plus. Je vais voir en le désactivant.

T'es sûr de tes hsync et vsync ?
 
en te basant sur le fichier que te sort "Xorg -config" ça te fait quoi ?

Pour les hsync et vsync je pense que ça doit être ça. J'ai trouvé un tuto sur le net, qui disait comment les trouver, notament avec le Xorg -config... (mais avant, je laissais les Hsync et Vsync comme défini par Xorg et comme les valeurs étaient trop élevées par rapport au EDID, ça prennait l'intersection des deux intervales. Le résultat était identique, ça ne marhait pas)
Je viens de lancer un DVD de mars 2005, linux+live et mis à part le plantage de l'X, le logo Nvidia s'affiche sur toute le surface de l'écran. Je vais donc essayé de mettre un autre pilote, plus ancien.
