config d'XFree & co sur mon portable avec ecran WXGA [SID] - Hardware - Linux et OS Alternatifs

help :(
 
voila les faits : j'envisage de mettre linux sur mon portable pour m'y habituer en utilisation "workstation".
 
j'ai donc installé un debian woody puis passage en sarge et finallement sid :D
 
je pense avoir installé correctement xfree4 et fluxbox ( kde s'install pas )
 
mais voila, je n'arrive pas a lancer fluxbox. rien d'etonnant :D
 
je suppose que les problemes viennent de plusieurs trucs :
- packages manquants, oubli de ma part
- packages cassés, sid ??
- mauvaise config ou absence de config
 
l'ordi :
HP NX7000 et donc video ATI Radeon9200 et ecran 15.4" WXGA (wide)
 
toute info est la bien venu.

ps: je pense que mon install est propre ( 300Mo ~)

par contre je ne suis pas tres familié de ce genre de truc. comme c'est un portable je ne sais pas trop quoi repondre :/ pour la souris, le clavier etC.

parfait. je viens de choper le XF86Config d'un possesseur de NX7000 sur le net mais ca plante qd meme. il ne trouve pas certain modules :??:
 
je vais tenter le knoppix.

Si c'est un probleme de module, il faut que tu les compile, sinon comme tu es sous debian il y a un truc pour les modules modconf :D

apres avor bataillé pour copier le fichier de knoppix :lol: , ca me dit :

et

merde c'est plus le meme XF86Config que j'ai la. il ne me fait pas d'erreur de module celui la.
 
et de memoire l'autre me faisait une erreur sur le moduel synaptics ( touchpad probablement). et ds modconf il n'y a pas de modules synaptics. ca me gonfle :D

et pour info la resolution normale sur mon portable est 1280*800 et il y a aussi une souris usb microsoft bidule notebook de connectée.
 
 
(mais pourquoi ont-ils mélangé souris+clavier+video ???? :D)
