Installer une carte pci VT6421 : marche pas ! et probleme de udev - Hardware - Linux et OS Alternatifs

ben voilà...  
Précisions :
- distrib ubuntu serveur (sans graphique).
- newbee nux inside
- noyau 2.6.22
 
j'ai voulu ajouter une carte pci pour mettre un disque SATA supplémentaire et une IDE également ; elle est à base de ce VT6412.
 
je ne sais pas si elle est installée ou non... (a priori oui puisque sata_via est lancé)
 
mais en tous les cas les disques sata comme ide ne sont pas reconnus :(
 
de plus, le ide n'apparait pas mais un scsi2... !? :??:
 
Enfin, udev plantouille un peu... il me met un coup la carte via pci avant le nvidia interne... l'autre coup à l'inverse... c'est assez pénible...
 
Au passage :
- comment je peux réinitialiser juste la carte genre montage à chaud pour voir ce quelle détecte ?
- depuis la MàJ de udev (qui n'a rien changé aux permutations) il apparait des  "generic sg*" késako/interret ? (que je n'avais pas remarqué avant)
