pas de 1280x8à00 avec gentoo + i915 + xorg.conf - Linux et OS Alternatifs

Bonjour,
 
je possède un Gericom BlockBuster Xcellent avec une carte graphique intégré de type Intel 855PM + ICH4M (FW82801DBM) chipset with graphic.
J'ai installé il y a quelque temps déjà une gentoo 2005-1 avec mis à jour du dernier noyau 2.6.13-r3.
Je n'ai jamais réussit à avoir la résolution maxi que propose ma carte graphique à savoir du 1280x800. En effet je reste en résolu maxi qui est 1024x768 ce qui ne me plais pas.
je pense que cela est lié à ma configuration de X11 mais je ne sais pas comment résoudre mon problème sachant que j'ai essayé plusieurs méthodes sans succès. (j'ai notamment test& avec 855resolution)
 
quelqu'un a til déjà réussit cet exploit de modifier cette config forcée en 12800*800.

j'ai essayé de patcher mon firmware mais j'ai toujours la même erreur !!ce qui me derange c'est l'histoire de mémoire qui n'est pas suffisante.

Je vois affiché 1280x1024 dans ton fichier de config, essaie 1280x800
Est-ce normal que tu fonctionne en 16 bits et pas 24??
 
Il n'y a apparement pas de /dev/agpgart
va dans /dev, et en root, lance :  MAKEDEV generic

j'ai cchangé en 1280x800, mis le depth en 24 et j'ai éxécuté la commande mais rien de rien (il n'y a pas de agpgart dans /dev).
