As for the PS2, 72.5 million PS2 titles have shipped so far. In Q2 22.7 million CDs were shipped, compared with 3.4 million a year earlier. Sony's games business for Q2 was up by 83 per cent on the period a year earlier. The Playstation operation had an operating profit of 4.1 billion yen ($34 million) compared with a loss of 2.9 billion yen ($23.55 million) in the year-ago period. |
