ok je reformule plus clairement c'est QUOI analyste crédit dans une banque ? parce que en gros sur le site efinancial career ca a l'air très sexy mais est ce que y'a différent type d'analyste crédit ds une banque ou c'est pareil ?

Apparemment c'est la meme logique sauf que dans une banque d'investissement (ce que je crois comprendre en lisant ta description de poste) les clients sont des entreprises, clients prives fortunes etc. au lieu de particuliers dans les banques de detail.
Je connais pas le poste en particulier mais selon moi c'est un departement de controle qui donne un feu vert quand un sales ou assimile veut conclure un deal avec un client. En gros.

The credit analyst on banks is in charge of analyzing the credit quality and evaluating the financial strength of banks, in order to define how much credit risk SG is willing to accept.
He is responsible for a portfolio of banks with which SG is doing business. Given SG's strong international presence, the global portfolio is made up of more than 1000 banking groups located worldwide.
Main responsibilities
* Conduct an analysis of the strengths/weaknesses of the banks, of the risks inherent in their environment (quality of the banking system, country risk, legal framework...) and of their financial reports, in order to determine their creditworthiness and propose a rating
* Define an acceptable level of risk based on the credit quality of each bank and SG's policy in terms of risk appetite on banks
* Keep informed of the main news that could impact the credit quality of the banks in the portfolio (financial statements, press releases, reports from rating agencies, equity research, contacts with SG's local representatives in various countries...)
* Monitor credit risk exposure and propose credit guidelines for potential business development
* Handle requests for credit limits from SG's Front-Offices and discuss them with the appropriate departments (commercial relationship manager, compliance, legal documentation, country risk... ) to ensure that SG's policies are respected.
* Prepare detailed analyses when required : this can include a detailed study of a bank, of a group of banks (peer group analysis) or on a specific transaction.
